Love is a many splendid thing – or so the song goes! Helen and Jos drunk on love.
Helen and Jos’ engagement shoot at Snuff Mills was picture perfect. And a cheeky little bottle of prosseco put them in a playful frame of mind.
Hannah and Ben chose a gorgeous September day for their Cotswold’s wedding at the fantastically characterful Bear at Rodborough. The sun shone throughout, the sunset was breathtaking and the cattle on Rodborough common were pretty charming too. A fairytale ending to the perfect day.
The smiiler-than-smiley Naomi and Ally got married in Bridport. The day kicked off with a Chinese tea ceremony at the picturesque Symondsbury Manor, followed by a traditional white wedding. The tea ceremony involved Ally and his male friends and relatives trying to impress the female contingency with challenges and games set for them. It was a day filled with fun, laughter and colour. A true reflection of the happy couple.
The gorgeous wedding of Leah and Dan at Southrop in the heart of the Cotswolds. Such perfect taste (Kate Moss tied the knot here!), happiness all round, amazing food (by day it’s Thyme cookery school) and a beautiful day to boot! Congrats chaps!
The long, warm and lazy evenings of late summer seem a very long way off right now and the never-ending rain and recent floods look as though they’re here for a while. So, I thought I share this sunset shot of Hannah & Ben from last summer to warm you up. The British Summer (if it ever arrives) is sometimes worth the wait.
Sarah and Iain’s wedding at Kingscote Barn in the heart of the Cotswolds was a truly happy affair. Although going by this first shot of Iain you may think differently. Emotions were running high and the moment Sarah entered the room completely overwhelmed him. Possibly my favourite shot from a fab wedding, although the pink fluffy slippers worn by their bridesmaid daughter were pretty great too!
Given the glorious weather and number of BBQs last bank holiday you’d think Summer had arrived, but just a few weeks ago it was very different story – the daffodils were barely out and Spring was doing its best to get going. And that’s when Sarah + Brían tied the knot in picturesque Castle Coombe and at The Manor House hotel. Even on a damp spring day you can see why Castle Coombe lays claim to be the “prettiest village in England“: the church is just a stone’s throw from the stunning Manor House hotel where they had their reception. And instead of the usual wedding breakfast they laid on a decadent and sophisticated afternoon tea. The day felt particularly special as Sarah’s daughters were her bridesmaids and it was plain to see how proud they were to see they’re mum getting married. It was also clear to see how special and full of meaning this day was for Sarah and Brían. Congratulations guys.
Hi everyone! It’s great to finally have my first blog post – the first of many I hope.
A few weeks ago I photographed a wedding in Liverpool. It was very sweet and small – just the bride and groom plus six guests. A really lovely couple but such a shame I can’t tell you their names or show you their faces – the wedding was a secret! So here are a few anonymous shots of the day.
